报告摘要：I will introduce the ABS equations and construct a tau-function based on their 3D consistency. All the equations have the same tau function except Q4, so the genus 0 cases are unified and the elliptic case distinguished. Exact solutions of Q4 have been obtained by combining the tau function approach with analysis of discrete singularities and with periodic Backlund chains.
