报告摘要：Modular categories are categorical generalizations of finite abelian groups with nondegenerate quadratic forms. Given a finite group with a 3-cocycle, one can construct the quantum double, which has a modular representation category. In this talk, we will discuss the notion of modular categories and some basic examples obtained from finite groups.
