报告摘要：In this talk, we introduce some numerical methods for solving large sparse systems of nonlinear equations with positive definite Jacobian matrices. Local and semilocal convergence theorems are proved under proper conditions. Also, we present the global methods with a backtracking strategy and analyse their global convergence. Finally, numerical results are given to confirm their feasibility and effectiveness.
