摘要: The famous Douglas theorem contains four equivalent conditions on the solvability of the operator equation AX=B associated to Hilbert spaces. Some generalizations have been made in the literatures from the Hilbert space case to the case of the Hilbert C*-module. In this talk, we will report some our latest results on this topic. The talk will be focused on the equivalence of these four conditions, as well as some C*-algebraic techniques applied to the solutions to certain operator equations, and to the characterizations of the closures of operator ranges.
